The European Committee for Cosmetics and Consumer Health (CD-P-COS, co-ordinated by the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines & HealthCare [EDQM]) has published the second edition of this book to serve as a guidance for manufacturers and safety assessors. The main aim of the second updated publication is to focus on the real risks that can be caused by the confusion of certain cosmetic products with food by young children and to make efforts to reduce any health risks arising from children's exposure to different cosmetic products from an early age. It is available in English and French and PDF format can be downloaded for free.
